In the heart of Hawke's Bay, the rhythm of the seasons is intertwined with the dedication of growers. But amidst the thriving orchards and vineyards, we observed a persistent challenge: the vulnerability of young replacement plants. High mortality rates, often reaching 70%, and slow, inconsistent growth were impacting yields and profitability. These growers' struggles became our inspiration. We knew there had to be a better way to nurture these vital young plants. Our journey began with a question: How could we create a system that would give young plants the best possible start? We rolled up our sleeves, experimenting on our own lifestyle block and working closely with growers to understand their specific needs. Through trial and error, we refined our ideas, eventually giving rise to H₂Ortigator. This elegant solution seamlessly integrates into existing operations, slashing plant losses and accelerating growth. H₂Ortigator is the culmination of a journey driven by a desire to help growers thrive.
